Who may use our services

FirmaNowLex offers services to individual entrepreneurs, sole proprietors, and independent business owners who are capable of entering into legally binding agreements under Swiss law. Use of certain features may be limited to verified or registered users.

You must be at least 18 years old to use FirmaNowLex services. Accounts registered on behalf of organizations must be created by authorized representatives who confirm their authority to act for the organization.

You agree to use FirmaNowLex only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. Prohibited uses include fraud, infringement of third-party rights, and actions that would harm the integrity of our services.

Service availability may vary by jurisdiction. Accessing FirmaNowLex from countries where our services are restricted or illegal is prohibited. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws.

User accounts

Creating an account gives you access to tools, templates, and advice tailored to independent owners. Accurate account information helps us deliver the right services and keep your interactions secure.

You agree to provide truthful, up-to-date information when registering and to update that information as needed. Misleading or false information may result in suspension or termination of access.

Keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Use strong passwords and enable any offered security features. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.

Accounts are personal and may not be transferred or assigned without our written consent. Selling, sharing, or otherwise transferring access to paid services is not allowed.

If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support immediately at [email protected] so we can take appropriate steps to secure your account and advise on next steps.

We may suspend or restrict accounts for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or threats to system security. Suspension may be temporary while we contribute or permanent where serious violations occur.

Our services

FirmaNowLex provides legal templates, practical guides, document review options, and access to qualified consultants for independent owners. Services are designed to simplify legal tasks and help you make informed decisions for your business.

We may modify, add, or remove features and pricing. When changes affect existing paid subscriptions, we will provide advance notice and options where appropriate. Updates that are minor or improve functionality may be implemented without prior notice.

We strive for reliable service availability but may require downtime for maintenance, upgrades, or security matters. We will communicate scheduled maintenance in advance when feasible.

User conduct rules

Use FirmaNowLex responsibly. The following rules help maintain a safe and useful service for all users.

• Do not impersonate others or provide forged credentials.
• Do not upload illegal content or documents that infringe third-party rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt or probe our systems, networks, or other users.
• Use content and templates in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
• Respect privacy: do not share personal data without lawful basis and consent.
• Communicate honestly and professionally when interacting with our consultants or support staff.
• Report suspicious activity or vulnerabilities to [email protected] rather than exploiting them.

User content

User content includes documents, messages, and uploads you provide while using FirmaNowLex. You retain ownership of your original content subject to the rights you grant us to operate the service.

You warrant that you own or have authority to submit any content and that submission does not violate third-party rights. Ownership of your content remains with you, except for any licensed elements provided by FirmaNowLex.

By submitting content, you grant FirmaNowLex a non-exclusive license to host, reproduce, and process that content as necessary to provide the services, including sharing with third-party service providers under confidentiality terms.

You are responsible for compliance with laws and for the accuracy and suitability of content you upload. FirmaNowLex is not a substitute for personalized legal advice and will flag items that appear to need professional review.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law. You can request deletion of your content subject to legal retention obligations and data protection rules.

Intellectual property

All site content created by FirmaNowLex, including templates, guides, graphics, and software, is protected by intellectual property rights. You may use licensed materials for permitted business purposes but must not copy, redistribute, or claim ownership of FirmaNowLex content.

• Do not reproduce or distribute proprietary templates or documents outside permitted use.
• Do not remove or alter intellectual property notices or attributions.
• Do not create competing products by extracting substantial parts of our content or code.

Paid services

FirmaNowLex offers subscription plans and one-off paid services such as personalized document reviews and consultant sessions. Paid services come with clear descriptions of scope, deliverables, and pricing.

Pricing for paid services is displayed on the site and at checkout. Prices are in applicable currency and may include taxes where required. Promotional offers have stated durations and conditions.

We accept payments via secure payment providers. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. Payment is required prior to delivery of paid services unless otherwise stated.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account dashboard. Changes to subscription tiers may affect billing cycles and fees.

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. For limited-scope services, partial refunds may be available if work has not been performed. For subscriptions, canceling prevents future charges but does not always entitle you to reimbursement of prior fees.

You may cancel paid services or subscriptions at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise specified. For custom or one-off engagements, cancellation terms are set out in the service agreement.

Users are responsible for applicable taxes related to purchases. FirmaNowLex will include taxes in the invoice where required by law and will comply with tax reporting obligations in jurisdictions where we operate.

We may change prices for future billing periods. Existing subscribers will be notified of price changes with reasonable notice and given the opportunity to modify or cancel their subscription.

Failure to pay may result in suspension of paid services and account access. We may pursue outstanding amounts through collection processes where necessary.

Disclaimer

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FirmaNowLex's liability for direct damages arising from use of our services is limited to amounts paid for the relevant services in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

Third-party services

We may use third-party providers to deliver elements of our services, such as payment processing or cloud hosting. Third parties may have their own terms and privacy practices. We select reputable partners and require appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

Termination

Either party may terminate access for breach of these Terms or other lawful reasons. Upon termination, your access to the service will end and we may delete or anonymize data in accordance with our retention policy.

Termination does not relieve you of obligations accrued prior to termination, such as unpaid fees. We may retain certain records as required by law and to protect legal rights.

Privacy

Our privacy practices are described in the FirmaNowLex Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, and how you can exercise your rights. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

Communications

By using FirmaNowLex, you consent to receive electronic communications such as emails about your account, service updates, and legal notices. You may opt out of marketing messages while still receiving essential transactional communications.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, business practices, or services. Material changes will be communicated in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the canton of Fribourg, unless mandatory legal rules require otherwise.
